Managing safety, ecoefficiency and health protection for staff is an ongoing process involving the following stages:

• structuring
• assessment
• improvement

Solvay’s various Strategic Business Units are taking part in implementing a common policy regarding health, safety and the environment. Consistency depends on the use of uniform management methods and the pursuit of objectives shared by the entire Solvay Group. There are, in addition, special objectives for particular product lines.

Activities relating to health, safety and environmental protection are gradually being integrated, for example through a program of harmonized audits covering all three fields.

Solvay uses unified standards and methods for the menagement of health, safety and the environment.
